Projektwoche "English around the world"

"English around the world" sounds like a very far-reaching subject. Accordingly, the students' choices were also very different: someone dealt with crime, two others with New York City, someone else with typical Australian animals etc.

But what kind of excursion within Switzerland would guarantee an exciting and unforgettable experience for the teenagers? Since we teachers are also fascinated by the animal world, we decided to visit the snake zoo in Eschlikon, a place most people have not heard of.
We enjoyed an exciting guided tour of the snake zoo, home to more than 150 snakes from 5 continents. All students as well as teachers who wanted to were allowed to hold snakes (no poisonous ones of course!) like the blood python (python curtus breitensteini), a rather short, fat but very heavy snake, as well as an albino tiger python (hence yellow and white patterned). Even the most fearful students dared to touch a snake at least briefly at the end - well done!

It was certainly an unforgettable experience for all of us!
